FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

This machine is designed to size heel covers for thinned soles, both in leather and tunit, from the “fleshing” side. 

This processing operation is necessary due to the fact that the material thinning procedure is unable to make the heel cover thickness uniform and constant, especially when the required measurements are quite thin (0,8 mm.) The processing is executed by using two abrasive clothes and two flat matrices, which trace the area to be sized. The machine is equipped with two work stations, independent of each other and operating in alternate way, which allows to optimize the working and loading times. 

Its special design allows an easy use, especially for adjustments associated with the centring of the soles. The machine is equipped with an electronic system for managing the machine’s cycle and processing speed. The insertion of the soles must be performed manually, whereas the extraction is performed automatically. The machine can be installed in line with other machinery.
